Connected to Mac via SSH But Can't Write To SD Card

I've managed to connect Jolla to a Mac via SSH and can read/write all phone internal files, but when I attempt to copy files from Mac to SDcard (/run/user/100000/media/sdcard), it's not possible.

1/ Is there a method to copy files from Mac to Jolla micro SD card via SSH or USB (without resorting to a card reader).
2/ If not is there an easy way to copy files in the phone storage to SD card via terminal (on the Jolla).

I tried doing step 2 with the "Cargo Dock" found in the Jolla Store, but had no luck. I also tried changing the permissions of the SD card to include "write" but this couldn't be achieved.

    Any help gratefully received! :-)

Tried it with scp and it's working without any problem.
    bash-3.2$ scp testfile nemo@jolla:/run/user/100000/media/sdcard/
    testfile 100% 1024 1.0KB/s 00:00

    [nemo@jolla ~]$ ls -lah /run/user/100000/media/sdcard/testfile
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 nemo nemo 1.0K Jan 15 21:42 /run/user/100000/media/sdcard/testfile

You're a legend @Sailor! Thanks again will try this.

Can this method be used to copy whole folders with sub directories ?

Yes, can be used but you need to add a "-r" to the scp command. For example:
    scp -r testdir nemo@jolla:/run/user/100000/media/sdcard/
