Sailfish Software HotFix:

We’ve been really busy lately in the run up to Christmas but never far from the news on twitter or at our community port – also, highly anticipating an imminent delivery of our Jolla phone! :-)

Last night, another one of our community members, WilliePre, alerted us to the fact that a new software update ( was rolling out, stating the following:

A notice was just sent via the Devel mailing list, by Bernd Wachter :

“Hi all,

we just discovered an issue in both and today which
causes update of the store token required for accessing store
repositories to fail. A fix for that has been pushed a few minutes ago:
The update to version you might be seeing on your device soon
contains exactly this one fix to keep store access working.

Jolla are certainly not resting on their laurels with 2 software updates in just over a week(!), this one a minor bug fix for store compatibility.

More great news as I wait in huge anticipation for my Jolla phone which is apparently in France at the moment winging its way over to me – looks like I’m going to be one happy new Jolla owner come tomorrow! :-)
