SLUSH 2013: Pictures And Words
Slush 2013 has gone down a storm for Jolla with various announcements and news to report after Marc Dillon et al took to the stage earlier today at 12:20pm local Finnish time.
One of the biggest pieces of news is that the Jolla phone will be going on sale through DNA ‘pop-up’ stores as early as 27th November!
Sales of the much-awaited Jolla phones will begin on 27 November 2013, when a pop-up DNA Kauppa shop will be selling them on Narinkkatori, central Helsinki, for a single evening.
Those who pre-booked from DNA Finland will also have a chance to get their phone via the pop-up shops:
The world’s first Jolla phones will be primarily sold to those who have made a pre-booking, and they will be invited to the launch event. The first batch to be sold in the pop-up shop consists of 450 phones
Jolla have also confirmed that all the original pre-booking customers who made a commitment earlier this year will be contacted shortly by email.
@Joelsk78 Thanks! All who pre-ordered will get more information soon.

Consumers have been able to pre-book Jolla phones since May 2013, with thousands of Finns already having booked. The lucky first will get their phone on 27 November at the launch and the rest soon after – all who made a pre-booking will be contacted. Jolla phones will be available to others at DNA Kauppa outlets in early December.
We will also be posting video links from SLUSH 2013 as soon as they are available for those who missed the announcements.
So as Jolla’s time at Slush 2013 draws to a close, the anticipation from fans is seriously heating up to another level and we’ll all have to keep patient as Jolla ready themselves for the final stage of the process, that is the final delivery of the handsets… stay tuned and sail on! :-)
